SAIHP is a nonprofit voluntary organization dedicated to ensuring community health promotion through strategic research based intervention. The mission of this institute is to improve population health by facilitating information education and communication to the public, policy advocacy, and community mobilization Our programs focus on health promotion in a holistic context and strive for health care improvement in general with special focus on underserved, vulnerable, hard to reach, aboriginal and migrant population.

Objective

  • To improve the health of people, through research, health promotion, education, training, advocacy and clinical services.
  • Promote, stimulate and support efforts to improve the health of the community through biomedical and behavioral research.
  • To strengthen, develop and increase research into various diseases, disorders and conditions that affect people, determine gaps in knowledge about such condition and design appropriate research and intervention strategy.
  • To interact with the scientific and medical community, stake holders of the society, policy makers, public and appropriate organizations for advancing community health.
